Currently, the price of dry/split ginger is on the high side due to the rainy season. However, the price will drop drastically by october/November 2020 when there is much sun/heat to dry up ginger.
Also, from our experience, the reason behind the hike in price of the commodity is due to its frequent demand which prompts sellers to store their produce till a time when there is rainy season so they can sell at an extremely high price.
